Looking back at the blog it appears that it has been well...ummm...4 months since my last post..
That being said, I'll give you a short synopsis of our lives so you may forgive me for my lack of diligence in posting, then I'll bless you with A TON of pictures to just show you!

January 1st - Happy New Year!
January 11th - Started a 13 week Course called Financial Peace University! To find out more check out...http://www.daveramsey.com. THANKS MOM AND DAD, WE'RE WELL ON OUR WAY TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM!!!
January 17th - Jacob turns 1 and we have a big birthday party!
January 25th - Date night! (JD's second job's Christmas Party) - Yes, it was a month after Christmas. You know how it is in the resturant business. At this party they handed out tickets for a drawing at the end of the evening, and well, as you would guess it, we won the biggest bottle of beer I've ever seen in my life...like we needed that, or wanted that for that matter. But, before the evening had ended, someone else had won an IPOD Touch, and apparently liked beer and was looking for a barter - and everyone knows I LOVE a good bargin! P.S. Don't tell anyone, but we ended up selling the IPOD on Craigslist to help jump start out Financial Peace! Praise the Lord!
January 30th - DuckyStuff's first real "business event." I made a donation to the UNC Dance Marathon Silent Auction and was invited to the auction and reception. My friend and only one-time-used "employee" was able to attend with me! It was so fun to do something "grown up" and "business-like"! I got to treat myself to a new dress, matching handbag and even some new pantyhose - big spender!!!
February 3rd - Helped serve at the International Wives Luncheon @ Duke University with the WMU at our Church. The WMU ladies are so wonderful and full of such great wisdom. I wish that I could attend the WMU meeting every months, but life happens!
February 14th - Valentine's Day!!! - Guess what my sweety bought me...a minivan...not just any van, but an ABSOLLUTELY PAID FOR...IN CASH...'97 Pontiac Transport!!! (NO CAR PAYMENT ON THIS ONE BABY!!! - WELL ON OUR WAY TO FINANCIAL PEACE!!!) ANYONE IN THE MARKET FOR A '03 HONDA ELEMENT? WE HAVE ONE FOR SALE...
February 17th - Glucose test...NEED I SAY MORE PREGNANT LADIES.
February 18th - Return to the Baby Doctor for my second "precautionary" steroid shot (just in case I deliver baby #4 early).
February 21st - Double Date Night with some friends - Let me just tell you that I don't recommend so much MEXICAN FOOD during your third trimester of pregnancy...ROLAIDS ARE MY NEW BEST FRIEND! When we went to pick up our friends and drop the kids off, Andrew and I fell in the mud...thankfully it was night-time and no one saw it, but it was of course before dinner so I had a nice big muddy stain on my paints! I guess my belly got a head of my feet and down we went.
March 1st - CONGRATULATIONS JONATHAN!!! He's now been working for LMHT, Assoc. for 5 years!!!
March 4th - Met with a Muralist (another barter in the making) for our first consultation for a "girls room." Even though we know not what we are having, I've decided it is time to split the kids and have a boy and girl room. I figured that if we have a girl - great, Elizabeth can share her room with the new baby. I figured that if we have a boy - great, Elizabeth can share her room with Mommy and all her DuckyStuff stuff. I'll tell you it's adorable...pictures coming soon!
March 5th - 9th - Crazy, last min. trip to Arkansas...driving in our new van, with 4 kids and a big pregnant woman for over 15hrs. (and that's just one way), to a very small college club reunion. I LOVE MY HUSBAND...HE'S SO VERY BRAVE! It was so great to see all my old friends. Jonathan and I also took a walk down memory lane and played a round or two of ping pong (that's how/where we met) ! I also made a deposit on the "gum tree", visited with Mom Chu (who is retiring this year), and got kidnapped by the Business Office ladies!!!
My Mommy Moment of the AR trip...has there ever been a time where you just wern't sure what to do or who to tend to first, because everyone needed you at the same time? We had just finished a relatively peaceful late breakfast at McDonalds and thought we'd let the kids play a while to run off some energy before packing them back up in the van for several hours. Jonathan helped me get all the kids shoes off and get them playing and then went to the van to get sippy cups to wash out and refill, etc. As if we wern't getting enough odd looks and crooked smiles (A young couple with 4 kids 3 and under and very noticably pregant) then the inevitable happens...at this particular playland, they had the cushion stair-like things for the kids to use while climbing up the tubes. Well, you know how clean these toylands can be. Picture this...Charlize (our niece) was climbing up the tube, Andrew was climbing back out of the playland, Charlize steps on a cushion, nasty wet gunk starts streaming out of two small holes onto Andrews head (and he HATES being wet), and naturally starts wiping his hair off with his hands. All I could think was that some kid had taken their coke up into the tubes and spilled it at some point...and no telling how long it had been in there. Before my thought had finished, I hear echoing from the tube..."Aunt Mimi...I had an accident..." Yes...it was in fact an accident...Andrew had just gotten peed on...
March 14th - JD paints the base coat in the girls room...her's a hint, the shade is called "Gleeful" and looks a lot like this!!!
March 17th - St. Patricks Day - Good thing we painted the room green so no pinching went on...the murlist came and started...WOW! I'm so impressed and so very excited!!! (ok, you know crazy me...I decided that we're "banking" on a girl, so I have made a new crib set that totally coordinates with the new room - LOVE IT!!!) Pictures to come...I promise...MOM! If we have a boy, well, I guess I'll be busy after we have the baby working on a boy crib set...I plan on going with a nautical theme in the boys room!
March 18th - The room is complete!!! It's so perfect. It's "girly" but not "make you wanna puke, over the top "girly girly". Also a trip to UNC for an ultrasound (I love medical studies that pay you to look at your baby and get to take pictures home too!) Sorry, our scanner isn't working so I cant post any of those pictures, but...I will say that I'm so very confused now as to what we are having...will it be a boy or a girl...we took a bunch of 3D pictures of the baby's face, and they look just like Andrew...
March 21st - CONGRATULATIONS TO JORDAN, ADRIENNE and CHARLIZE! They signed a lease on a piece of rental property and will be moving to their own place soon! Get this, it just so happens to be across the street from us! It will be really nice and convenient to have family so close! We are already planning on trading off babysitting for each other and sharing large Sam's purchases.
Week of March 22nd - Andrew is Potty Training!!! And doing an awesome job at it. He woke yesterday morning...CLEAN AND DRY!!! We're still not quite done with the #2 training, but are showing signs of improvement!
March 29th - I sit here in peace...writing to you...we actually all made it to Sunday School and Church...early...went out for BBQ (Texas Style) for lunch with some friends, then on to our next to last Financial Peace University meeting. We came home to an nearly empty house. Today was moving day for Jordan and Adrienne. The big kids went down for a really really really late nap at 4:30ish...am I nuts or what! Oh, well, it's 11:45 and they have only been up to go potty! They must be worn out...like mommy is...I need to get some rest...so, I'll sign off for now and will hopefully write again soon!

How did your remember all that? Maybe you keep a fancy calendar you can look back on? Anyway, great update! Cant wait to see that girl room. I didnt know the fam was moving next door- how cool!! And i love the new look for the blog. Hmmm....boy or girl....I'll say boy. Because everyone is having a lot of the same gender in their family and you've got more boys right now. But only God knows and he'll send the perfect baby. Love you, girl!
