Julie & Julia

I finally got to watch Julie and Julia! Such a great movie...I left me wanting to blog and wondering why in the world I can't seem to ever make it to the computer. I guess most of you could figure out that I'm just a little busy. I would love to be able to blog a picture of the day and the quote of the day! I believe that it is doable, but I can't make any promises. So I'll just start with some funny quotes the kids have said recently...

So the other day I was still in bed and overheard this conversation in the kids bathroom:

Andrew asked Jacob, "Did you fall out of bed?"
Jacob said, "Yah"
Elizabeth said to Jacob, "Let me see if your teeth fell out...move your tongue!"

Here are some other funny quotes:

While on vacation in a hotel Elizabeth looked at the TV and said, "What's This?" (FYI: we don't own one!) In that same hotel room she said, "There's no kitchen in here, I guess we'll just have to have a picnic!"

Having to go potty while in the middle of eating dinner, Andrew said, "Mommy, will you pause my plate?"

Elizabeth (supposed to beasleep in bed) came to the top of the stairs and yelled, "Mom, I found a Harris Teeter coupon you NEED! (funny thing is...it was a coupon and on the back was the Harris Teeter logo)

Elizabeth talking about cotton candy at the ball game. "I want a cotton ball."

Elizabeth talking about fireworks at the ball game..."I don't want them to get on me."

Elizabeth said, "I had a scary dream...it turned into Arkansas." Mommy said, "What turned into Arkansas?" Elizabeth said, "My room! (long pause) And that's why we don't use pillows!"

Well, the kids are swarming me and needing my attention...got to run!
